Services Coordination

The United Church Manor employs a Social Service Coordinator on a part-time basis. The Service Coordinator is an in-house advocate for the resident community. Her/His goal is to assist residents, enabling them to remain in their home and maintain their independence for as long as possible. Residents may receive assistance with daily living activities like meal preparation, housekeeping, personal hygiene, managing finances, or transportation needs.

Our Service Coordinator  links residents to supportive services in the community. She/He  meets with each resident twice a year to assess any benefits they may be eligible for and monitor services in place. Although we do not provide direct services, we encourage residents to maintain their independence by taking advantage of community resources.
